Rumors of my Demise

I woke up this fine morning, a day in which out of my office window I will be able to see the return of the USS Constellation through the fog of another marine-layer Monday, and I realized that Syntax of Things has become yet another victim to my laziness. Not really, but it sounds like a nice excuse. Actually, I've been going non-stop since my return from Atlanta. I've either been trying to figure out why I accepted a position of more responsibility and possibly less "comfort" while at the same time trying to tie up all the loose ends of the old position, or I've been recovering from this very SARS-like kennel cough that I caught in the highly uncomfortable fuselage on my return trip. I haven't had the time or energy to keep up with current events much less write about them, so the natural casualty of this activity/recovery has been this little blog. And yet I wonder if it matters. If a blog...woods...no one...sound?
